In December 2013, outline planning permission was granted to Barratt David Wilson for a large, strategic site in Aylesbury Vale. The proposals include 2,450 new homes through the creation of three village areas; Oakfield Village, Orchard Green and the Canal Quarter.
The reserved matters for each village are now being progressed with the application for Oakfield Village having been approved in June 2015 and Orchard Green in December 2016.

S106 Agreements have been signed with Buckinghamshire County Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council. Through these Agreements, Barratt David Wilson will commit over £81 million to provide facilities and funds to support the new development and the wider community.
Furthermore, Barratt David Wilson has joined forces with the RSPB to work together on high profile housing developments. Kingsbrook is the first of these projects and will set a new bench mark for nature-friendly housing.
Throughout the development of the proposals, Engage Planning and Barratt David Wilson Homes have sought to involve the local community. We have organised a series of public exhibition events, produced project newsletters and host a project website. A series of Stakeholder Steering Group meetings has been established to ensure regular and effective communication with the local community and wider stakeholders.
