Stanley Mill, Stroud
Proposals for the redevelopment of Stanley Mill in Stroud gained unanimous support from Stroud District Council's planning committee in December 2010.
This was an important project in terms of safeguarding local jobs, supporting local business and ensuring the long-term future of Grade I & Grade II listed buildings. The proposals included the conversion of listed buildings to residential use, community/commercial space and the erection of new build dwellings.

Snape, Suffolk Coastal
Engage Planning worked closely with Hopkins and Moore to demonstrate local support for a development at Snape of 26 homes, of which eight were to be ‘affordable dwellings’. Suffolk Coastal District Council had indicated that it would progress the application only if we could demonstrate local support.

Rachel Carson
Director
Rachel is currently involved in the promotion of strategic land allocations as well as pre-application community consultation programmes. Her current clients include Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon Homes, Barratt Developments and Urban Renaissance Villages.
Prior to working within the development industry, Rachel was the political advisor to the leader of Essex County Council. Her close involvement with the county departments and local district councils gave her a valuable insight into the workings of local authorities.
Rachel has worked as Parliamentary Researcher for Bernard Jenkin MP, during which time she dealt with constituents casework in liaison with the local authorities and local bodies.
Patrick Gallagher
Consultant
Patrick's background is in Environmental Design and Town Planning with a focus on Housing Policy. He is well versed in contemporary land development issues.
Patrick graduated from Birmingham City University with an MA in Spatial Planning with a Specialism in Housing (focused on Affordability Issues). Prior to working at Engage Planning, Patrick worked for West Midlands Planning Aid.
Patrick contributes expert technical mapping, graphic design and layout services to projects.
Danielle Cook

Danielle has extensive experience in working with local authorities and the communities they serve. She has worked with national house builders, supermarkets and property developers in both housing and mixed-use developments throughout the country. Danielle specialises in strategy development, community consultation and media relations.
Sarah Hunter
Business Development Manager
Sarah is responsible for business development. She is also responsible for writing community newsletters. Her background is in law and social sciences.
